Chapter 13
- For the next few days, Luna didn’t wake, other than when Gunner’s sister came to help her with her daily routines. Wanting to make sure she was completely comfortable in her strange new surroundings; he asked his sister to come to help with her care. As loyal as ever, Lisa was willing to help in any way she could.
- The unfortunate reality of the situation was, in Luna’s mind, it was all a dream. Her reality wasn’t connecting with her mind, no matter how hard she fought to get a grasp on it. The blackouts and daydreams were consuming her, and each day was a struggle.
- The men took turns staying by her side those coming days, hoping and praying she would recover. It was all too surreal, even for them.
