Chapter 11

• Outside the arena, Luna made her way to the garage after stopping by the merchandise tables to pick up some souvenirs for her and Dee. She would have to drive all night because she didn’t have a hotel room. Grey abandoning here wasn’t only infuriating, it was a huge inconvenience.
• So pumped from seeing Gunner that she didn’t figure she would sleep tonight anyway. She’d just turn up the radio and enjoy the five-hour drive back home to Southern Indiana. She was used to all-nighters since her writing forced her to stay up long hours most nights anyway. What was one more restless night among many?
• By the time she reached her car at the bottom of the parking garage, people on her level had already cleared out. Her little clunky Toyota was all alone in the middle of the parking level right under a streetlight.
