• In a holding area with Gunner by her side, Luna tried to calm her nerves as he wrapped her knuckles with sports tape.
• “Don’t be scared,” Gunner reminded her gently. “Just remember what we all taught you back when you were training. I know my girl. You have still been practicing on your own, haven’t you?”
• “Well, I still take self-defense classes and work out with the wrestlers for practice.” She winced as the tape wound a little tight. “What if I can’t do this? What if I’m not strong enough?”
