• Luna sat in a little cafe with Roma catching up on the past few weeks.
• Roma couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “So, he doesn’t remember anything? I thought for sure you were the ones the prophecy talked about; the king and queen who will lead Lycans into a new era of peace.”
• “It’s been weeks. I keep catching him with a look on his face as if he is trying to figure something out. Other days, he looks at me like I’m nothing but trash. This is all just tearing my heart out all over again. I know this is not who he is. He seems so lonely and broken, and I don’t know how to fix this. I miss him so much. It’s like I see him every day, but it’s not him.” Luna swirled the straw around in her drink. “I feel more alone than I have ever felt in my life.”
