• At the restaurant, Luna was so glad to see her friends again. After ten years someone remembered her role and what she had done, and they were there live and in person. She almost couldn’t believe it was real.
• Roma took her hand with a smile that met her eyes. “Luna, we want to thank you. My grandmother passed away not long after the ritual was complete. She died happily and at peace knowing the Lycan fever was cured.”
• “That’s wonderful. I’m happy she got some redemption after all she’d been through.” She looked a little sad and rubbed the scar on her head. “I guess this was worth it.”
