• “Listen to me!” I scolded, pulling her closer to myself as one of the waitresses passed around us. My eyes followed her figure as she disappeared, and I returned them to the girl in front of me. My heart skipped a beat when I realized she had kept her gaze on me the whole time. Her alluring eyes made me self-conscious and insecure. It had been a while since we last spoke, and I had no idea what she thought of me anymore. I knew my feelings for her hadn’t changed, but what about hers?
