• When I got out of the accounting firm’s building, I looked around. It was a relatively lively area near downtown, and there were many office buildings around. I had already asked around for their CCTV camera footage, but none of them had any that could help me. There was no evidence of the thief from that night. Who was he to be able to go this far? Who had sent him?
• My teeth ground, and I stiffened my shoulders, taking a breath. Dirty air filled my lungs and made me want to cough. One of my problems was resolved, but a bigger one appeared. This shit was going to drive me crazy. It felt like there was always somebody breathing in my neck and following every step I took. This sensation had suffocated me for years, and now, I wanted to blow up and smash my enemies into pieces.
