• Opening my eyes, my face immediately caught on fire. The heavy figure behind my back wasn’t just a dream. Jace had infiltrated my apartment yesterday without any explanation and slept in my bed. With me! We actually slept together! My heart started racing, hitting against my ribcage, and my breathing quickened. What could this mean?
• I gulped and carefully twisted around to look at him. He was still deep asleep with his arm over my waist. His head was lying over my hair and restricting me from moving much. My eyes examined him. His expression was so relaxed that if he weren’t breathing, I would’ve thought he was just a beautiful picturesque image.
