• My own grunt woke me up. I opened my eyes and realized why I was so grumpy even before I blinked. I was on my couch, and my right arm was locked under my body. I growled under my breath and lifted myself, helping with my left hand.
• Massaging my arm, my face twisted into a grimace. I wasn’t an early riser, especially on the weekends. I huffed and shoved my messy hair away from my face, and a few locks entangled around my fingers. When I pulled them, my headache hit me.
