• By the point I had gathered enough bravery to confess my feelings, we were in front of a door and Jace opened it, glancing back at me with a smile. My chest tightened. He was so different in a suit and this big unfamiliar house... It felt like I knew so little about him. So much disappointment and longing rushed through my body that they made me dizzy for a moment.
• We entered the dining room. It was enormous with a warm red color on the walls and a single buffet on the small wall, while the other was decorated with a huge painting of a wolf. The table was also the size of a tank, and my brows slightly knitted when I saw the arrangement on it. Maxim and Anna were on the two opposite sides, on the two far ends from each other. What was up with them?
