- By the point I had gathered enough bravery to confess my feelings, we were in front of a door and Jace opened it, glancing back at me with a smile. My chest tightened. He was so different in a suit and this big unfamiliar house... It felt like I knew so little about him. So much disappointment and longing rushed through my body that they made me dizzy for a moment.
