• On the next morning, I was in a bad mood. And understandably so. We were going to meet some of my most important clients, and I hadn’t managed to blink last night. I set Maxim a trap to protect my cousin, but in the end, I put Claire in it. Max wasn’t serious about anybody. Even about Anna, whom he had been chasing for years.
• I growled and slammed my fist on the steering wheel of the Ferrari. I was so pissed that when I said I was driving, he didn’t even object. But the look he gave me now was enough to kill somebody.
