Chapter 35 To Each His Own
- Out here in the forest, the moon seemed to shine brighter.
- Eliza sat on a bench staring up at it, wondring if The Goddess showed better favour to her children who lived in nature. She certainly showed her face clearer. - The concert was fun, and so was the after party that followed. Fleeks' bandmates, as well as the rest of the people who had attended, were interesting folk. They came from all walks of life, from rich young kids in the city to farmers who lived half a mile away. They had chatted and drank and smoked, and at the end before the piano player loaded his instrument into the back of his van he had played Billy Joel's Piano Man and everyone stood up and sang along drunkenly. It felt like they hadn't a care in the world.
