Chapter 15 Nothing Else Needs To Be Said
- The hot water felt good on Eliza's skin after the long day she'd had. She let it run down her shoulders and back, letting it loosen tense muscles. It was good that she'd taken some time to properly wash herself with soap and shampoo before this little moment of respite, since all she wanted to do now was enjoy the feeling as much as she could. She hadn't known what she was getting herself into when she'd decided to ambush Lucas for a date today. What an utterly exhausting day, though she had to admit it was exhilarating as well.
- It did nothing to help her decide between the two alphas, though.
- Both of them very clearly cared deeply for the wolves under their care, and received admiration from those very same wolves. That was a given. No matter who she chose, the wolf community would be well cared for. The humans posed a different matter entirely. Viktor would see the wolf community isolated to protect them, but would further alienate them from the rest of the world. Lucas would try to build bridges with the humans, at the risk of endangering them further.
