Chapter 23 Follow The White Rabbit

• Jack Fisher winced as he burned his tongue on the hot coffee. Well, at least he was awake now.
• Once again he turned his head towards the narrow road that led off deeper into the woods where the Ordo Luna mansion was located. He had parked by the side of the road a fair distance away, enough so that nobody would see him if they came from the road but close enough to keep tabs on the comings and goings of anyone who left or entered.
• He yawned, and almost took another sip of coffee before remembering how hot it was, still. He sighed and set it back in the cup holder of his pickup truck. Not for the first time today, he wondered what was so special about this Eliza Samhain lady that he had to wake up so goddamn early in the morning to tail her.
