Chapter 8 – A Spell

• When Liam came in, I stood up, went to the window and turned around so I could see them all and no one had a chance to sneak too close to me. I didn’t want any more surprises.
• The look on Liam’s face surprised me. He looked tired and sad. He didn’t sit down, but took a few steps forward and stopped in front of me, leaving some distance between us. He kept his head lowered until Alpha spoke.
• ‘So, as for breaking the laws… It’s up to you to choose the punishment for Liam.’ Alpha said seriously.
