Chapter 14 – Temptation

• We talked a little about my previous pack. I told them that it wasn’t a peaceful and innocent pack from the inside either. Shortly after, a man named David came in with our packs. He is a medium height man with light brown hair and very muscular. As we talked, I learned that he is one of the warriors and also a teacher for training. He looks very strong but has a cute round childish face and innocent grey eyes. I was a little surprised when he bowed when he saw me. Does everyone already know that I am their alpha's mate? It was also strange that such a high-ranking warrior was sent to collect the goods, but David reassured me by saying that everyone else was busy with patrols or other duties and he was the only one who could help.
• After our brief introduction, he left. He said he had a night shift tonight, so we didn’t bother him for long. Sara showed me her crossed fingers sign and left as well, with Shawn following her. I knew I had to do it one way or another. I took a deep breath and went back to OUR room. He still wasn’t there, so I laid all the packages I had gotten on the bed, slowly checked them over, and picked out one of the sexy nightgowns to put on after the shower. I didn’t like how much it would reveal, but I didn’t know what else I could do. I have no experience in this sort of thing. I thought about everything, folded and put the other clothes in the closet on empty shelves and had a quick shower. After showering, I decided to lie down and wait for him to return. The meeting had ended more than an hour ago.
• While I was thinking, I accidentally fell asleep and only woke up with the first rays of sunlight. DAMN! I looked around, but I was the only one in the room. I smelled his scent, but it was faint. He was here. Hadn’t he slept with me? The other side of the bed looked untouched. But I had a blanket over me that he probably covered me with. I got up, washed myself, put on a V-neck blouse and a tight black skirt. I’m not sure how long I can wear this outfit, but….
