• I was nervous. Very nervous. I didn’t know what he meant when he said Brandon was hurt. How badly is he hurt? He's so strong, and the only other person I know who would be able to do that is Jared. I know my mate has a very strong gift that unfortunately wouldn’t work on Jared, and I know he’s physically strong, but I've never witnessed his physical strength. He hasn’t shown it in our training sessions. I guess I have to trust his physical strength too, because otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to survive the encounter with Jared. I’m glad he’s alive, but I probably shouldn’t hope for help anytime soon. He has to take care of himself and the pack first. And that’s a good thing. He's an amazing alpha and mate. I'll have to think of something myself this time.
• It's a shame there are no windows here, I don’t know Daniel’s territory well and I don’t know where exactly I am placed in. I am guessing it’s the pack house, but I am still not sure. I don’t have much energy, so I won’t be able to get past the guards, but if I don’t escape somehow, I am doomed.
