• At first, we decided it‘ was best to keep running in case Liam woke up and informed others. I told him how I had tricked him and left him sleeping. We knew we would be tracked down in no time. Everyone in the pack knew our scents, so we decided to jump into the first lake on our way. The water was freezing, but we didn‘t have much choice and it would only work temporarily anyway. Still better than nothing. I was glad we didn‘t need to keep running, I didn‘t have much energy since I hadn‘t rested properly after my rescue, and soaking wet in this cold weather didn‘t make me feel any better, but then again, Shawn didn‘t look affected at all.
• As we walked, we talked about different possibilities of what we could try to free Sara. Shawn didn‘t like most of them because they meant he would have to grab Sara and run away, so we kept arguing about it.
