Chapter 57

Katie's POV
Days had passed from the clash, I do part-time at the police state now. I wouldn't say I haven't felt the brothers fight or argued, it's just been rare. Instead I see Elaine always looking pissed and my guess is, she didn't get what she wanted.
I wanted to begin my training today, it's been weeks and I haven't done that, I felt myself being lagging behind. I went undercover yesterday and it didn't take a lot for the men I was spying to kick my ass, I would have lost the lead and maybe my life if it wasn't for Eloise, who swooped in and saved me. The mission was a success though. Eloise gave me a week off to work on myself to get back in shape. Now, in my room, getting dressed, I was contemplating on who to ask for help, I saw Caden leave the clan early this morning. My guess is that something came up in his clan. Eric was the only option available for me to ask. If Caden was around, I don't think I would ask him, he wasn't the one who offered to train me though. I sighed, now fully dressed in workout clothes, I walked out of my room.
