• Kathie paced the room, her bare feet pressing lightly against the cool wooden floor. The soft glow of the moon filtered through the curtains, casting long shadows across the room. She had been waiting for what felt like hours, her gaze fixed on the door, expecting Drake to walk through any moment. But no matter how long she waited, there was no sign of him.
• Drake had disappeared all of a sudden after they arrived at the guest house, and all attempts to reach out to him have proved to be futile. They had even tried to reach him through his phone but every call was saying the same thing, “The user is currently unavailable.”
