• Booted footsteps echoed through the small, dimly lit room as General Greene stormed in, fury radiating from him like heat from the sun. The news of Eloise's betrayal, which had allowed some of the werewolves to escape, was burning deep in his mind. It had thrown his entire plan into disarray, and he was desperate to regain control.
• Not once had he imagined that Eloise would betray him by manipulating his daughter Olivia into releasing the werewolves. But Eloise had no choice. The WEHS were planning to wipe out the entire werewolf clan and the least she could was to help them escape which was made possible by the help of Olivia.
