• Kathie stared at me, her eyes wide with something between shock and guilt. Good. Let her feel it. Let her drown in it. It was exactly what all of these was meant for by the way. She was supposed to think it was Eliane her own twin sister that was now threatening to get back at her.
• This was needed to avert the prophecy and to make sure the werewolf brothers don't get to identify her and Eliane as the twin sisters who are destined to restore the wolf code and protect the entire wolf clan.
