Chapter 1778 Things Weren’t Looking Good
- Even if Sally and Simon didn’t care about Bryce, there was still a human being locked up in the basement, yet they seemed to show no concern for the matter. Ian didn’t feel like he had any means of evaluating both of them. Sally and Simon had been pampered ever since they were born, so they were naturally individuals who were a little more selfish.

Well… I can see where they’re coming from, but I don’t really understand how they can do such a thing. Although we’re often taught to put ourselves first, I don’t think the same rule applies when the other party involved is your mom. They can’t possibly think that money is more important than a person’s life, right?
