- Ian had called Aurora beforehand to let her know what time they would be reaching home. The moment the couple walked in, Aurora hurried over to greet them. “How was it? Did it go well? Did Cindy’s mother agree for you guys to be together?”
- Hazel hadn’t rejected the idea from the start, and she seemed increasingly nicer to Ian as the days went by. In fact, Hazel got so nice to a point where Ian felt flustered. He couldn’t stop wondering what he had done to make Hazel change her attitude toward him. He had asked Cindy about this, but Cindy didn’t give him much of an answer.
