- Logan snorted. “I even called John before and asked about it. John seemed very angry when he talked about this matter.”
- Sophia remembered John’s antagonistic tone during that phone conversation that had made her uncomfortable. Caught in the thought, she didn't respond to Logan, who continued to say, “I don’t know what happened between the two of you, so I asked John about it.
