Chapter 2015 Driver
- Cindy didn't bring a change of clothes. Otherwise, she would've spent the night with him. Ian leaned against the headboard and scrolled through his phone while Cindy sat on the edge of his bed. All of a sudden, she turned to look at him as she recalled something. "By the way, I saw that Valerie came over in the afternoon. What was she doing here?"
- Valerie was the famous actress who was working with Ian—she had both the looks and the talent. When Valerie arrived earlier, she greeted Cindy as Cindy was leaving. Ian was aware of that, so he wasn't surprised when Cindy brought it up. "Both of us were in the same scene when I got injured. I was a little unluckier, but she was completely safe. I guess she came to visit me as a kind gesture."
- Cindy didn't suspect anything and merely nodded. "After seeing her in person today, I realized that she looks better in person."
