Chapter 1600 Cindy’s Sick
- Cindy couldn’t fall asleep, but she didn’t want to use her phone either. She simply curled up in bed while staring out the window. After some time, she heard someone opening the door outside. She immediately shut her eyes.
- “Did someone come home? Didn’t I lock the door when I left the house? Are you back, Keith?” Hazel’s nagging voice came from outside.
- Cindy pretended as if she didn’t hear anything and didn’t respond to her mother at all. Hazel glanced around the house before she walked toward Cindy’s room. Once she opened the door to Cindy’s room, she froze. “Cindy? Why are you back? Are you on holiday?” Hazel sounded rather surprised to see her daughter home.
