- Naomi didn’t feel like Cindy was purposefully distracting her either. She turned to Cindy and said, “Something came up at their company, so I didn’t stay for too long. Otherwise, it would’ve taken up a lot more of my time.”
- Cindy nodded attentively. “Will your business trip be extended this time, then? Would you be able to settle your company’s matters in a day?”
- Naomi scratched her head and replied, “I’m not sure; there seems to be a bit of trouble. I’ll just request for an extension from my company if I really need to. It’s pretty convenient.”
