Sophia wasn’t sure what they could talk about, for everything that needed to be sorted out had been sorted out. Then, she deleted the text and looked at Logan. “Finish your lunch and go back. I’m taking a nap.”
Logan took the utensils and dug in. “Yeah, yeah, I know.” He wasn’t an idiot. He knew John must have said something in the text, and now Sophia wanted him to leave.
He wasn’t interested in what they were going to talk about, so he left after having his lunch. Before he did, Logan reminded Sophia to lock the doors and windows. She grunted impatiently at him, and only then did he leave.
