Both of them sipped on their drinks while chatting. When Cindy casually glanced at their surroundings, she noticed the girl glaring at her from afar. The girl was clutching a drink in her hand as she stared straight at Cindy, not bothering to conceal her hatred toward Cindy.
After a moment of hesitation, Cindy turned to look at Peter. “The girl who handed you a drink earlier… Is she your girlfriend?”
“No, no!” Peter froze for a moment before he clarified the situation. “That’s one of the members of the club. I taught her how to play badminton in the past. She’s a pretty fast learner.”
