Chapter 2017 Thief
- Every one of them had locked drawers under their working desk. This was an important document, so Cindy had locked it up for safety purposes. However, when she leaned down to open the drawer, she was shocked by what she saw. The drawer had obviously been pried open, as it wasn't fully shut. One part of the lock had fallen onto the ground, while the other part was probably in the drawer.
- Cindy let out a gasp before kneeling down. The lock had indeed been broken. She quickly opened the drawer to find that the document was gone. The people around her had heard her gasps, so they hurried over as they didn't want to miss anything. Cindy picked up the damaged lock before looking through her other drawers that hadn't been spoiled.
- Once Cindy was certain that she had lost the document, she shut the rest of her drawers and headed over to Serena's office.
