• We got set up in Portland, and I saw that the pack was located about an hour out of the city. I didn't even know that my father owned property around this part of the country. But that didn't really surprise me.
• I didn't know anything about that man. And I didn't even know anything about myself until I left his pack.
• Connor sent scouts to check out the pack before we attempted anything, and we just had to wait at the hotel where we were staying until they checked in with us.
