Chapter 32

• Connor took me to the house that was at the top of the village and was definitely the biggest, and when I walked inside, I was really surprised at what I saw.
• This place was relatively new, and it was really nice inside. Apparently his whole pack had built this place themselves, in secret. Which is why there are so many more people here than I thought were in his pack. I think there were a lot more in his pack that he had spread out. Possibly building this place, or possibly somewhere else so no one knows exactly how big his army really is. They had built Connor a two-story place, but it wasn't massive like Father's packhouse. It wasn't a mansion or anything. It was more homely than anything. 2
• Connor took me upstairs, and he showed me my bedroom, which was right across the hall from his bedroom. I was glad that he wasn't trying to push anything on me still. And he had an ensuite in his room, but there was another bathroom next to my room. But I was alright with that.
