Chapter 43

• As soon as Connor had assembled a team to come with us, we met in the middle of the pack, and Connor explained the plan to them. They needed to cover the packhouse just in case there were a couple of strays lurking around. But Connor and I were going to be in the packhouse, and we were going to need them to watch our backs.
• We got in the cars after that and drove to my old pack.
• Connor and I were in the third car along the convoy, and I was being really quiet the whole way back there.
