• "Did you really think that you could escape me?" He growled, standing over me. I looked to the other side of the couch, and Alpha Connor wasn't there. Where did he go? How could he just leave?
• "I...I..." I stuttered, not knowing what to say.
• "You are going to regret that you were ever born. If you thought it was bad before, you better believe that your life is going to be miserable now." He growled through gritted teeth.
