Chapter 32

• "Last night she stayed at the hospital and then in the morning Mr. Anderson picked her up, then they went to a small restaurant near the consortium's facilities, where his father was waiting for them," the man reported quickly.
• "What were they doing? What were they talking about?" he interrogated, feeling annoyed by this encounter between the two men and Jade.
• "I couldn't tell you because I didn't have access to their conversation, but apparently..." at this point the man paused, hesitating to tell him what he observed, fearing his boss's reaction, however, after thinking for a moment he knew he couldn't hide what he saw. "Mr. Anderson and she are more than just friends, because when they left the restaurant, they were holding hands."
