Chapter 125

• Jade, sitting in the hospital room, distractedly watched from the window sill, thinking about the recent events. Her heart was wounded. She felt sad, insecure, thinking about a terrible truth that she refused to accept; she wasn't good enough for Kerry, because if she had been, she would never have even attempted suicide.
• A couple of rebellious tears crossed her face, it was inevitable to relive those moments of anguish.
• She listened to him apologize to her and Sapphire, putting the gun to his temple, while she tried to talk him out of that decision, but the words wouldn't come out of her throat, only sobs and tears could she emit.
