• Jade was stunned to see her boss's reaction, violently pushing her away from Anderson. She furrowed her brow in surprise at his behavior, "What's gotten into him, to come and act like a caveman, as if I belong to him," she thought.
• However, when she heard him demanding an explanation, a hint of guilt crossed her face and suddenly she felt as if she had been caught doing something wrong. She shook her head to clear her mind of these incoherent thoughts.
• "So, did the cat get your tongues or did you swallow them?" he pronounced brusquely, not allowing them to reply, and continued, "I clearly told you that my office is not a hotel room. And what are you doing in my absence? Can't you think of anything better to do than flirt and grope with a man who isn't even worth it," she imagined, "It's my fault for not giving you enough work to do.
