I rouse from sleep with a desperate thirst. The room is dark, and I can feel Zayne’s hands tightly wrapped around my waist. After not talking to him all day, I came up to his room last night and put on his shirt because I missed him and needed him to know that I love him regardless of Danuel's antics. Today was awful, seeing him and not speaking to him; I hate being away from him, which is new for me since it was never like this with Danuel. I can't get enough of Zayne. I smile, recalling a couple of hours ago when I woke up to him reading the card. And then we made love and fell asleep in each other arms. It was amazing, I told him to show me how much he missed me, and man, did he show me. I try to smile, but my dry mouth stops me; oh right, I need to get something to drink. I remove his hand and slip out of bed, and head to the door. I make my way down to the kitchen quickly and head for the refrigerator. I pour myself a glass of water and take a seat at the table, looking out on the green lawn dazzling under the moonlight; it’s gorgeous. I can’t believe I am right here with the people I love, having the time of my life because of Zayne and how much he loves me. I smile, enjoying the view and serenity of the night. Someone wraps their hands around me, and I melt into the familiar warmth.“My love, what are you doing?”
“Enjoying the view and a glass of water,” I mumble to him without averting my eyes.
