Chapter 60
- I left Jared’s school and arrived back at the penthouse half an hour later to laughter and shrieks coming from the kitchen when I opened the front door. I shook my head and for a minute I was jealous of Castiel. He seemed to sail through life, no worries of intimacy and no worries of the public’s eyes on him. The flare of jealousy didn’t last long because I wouldn’t trade hockey for anything.
- “Hey stranger, where did you run off to?” Tiffany asked me from the living room wearing one of my T-shirts. I didn’t mind and she looked good wearing it although I was surprised that she’d gone rummaging in my closet.
- “I had a thing,” I said as she patted the seat next to her.
