- I spent the night researching my options and coming up blank. It only added to the frustrations I was already feeling. What if he couldn’t call me? What if he got locked in a shed too? I’d never forgive myself if something happened to him.
- When the sun broke across the horizon, I was exhausted but I couldn’t sleep. I had to know he was okay, and it was driving me insane. I watched the clock and waited until seven a.m. before calling Jaleel and Social Services.
