Chapter 56
- “Who’s that?” Castiel asked me as we got off the elevator.
- There was a girl sitting beside my front door with headphones in her ears and her eyes closed as she leaned against the wall, her arms folded in her lap. She had a backpack on the floor next to her and she didn’t look homeless. She was wearing jeans and high-end sneakers. Her brown hair was long and in a ponytail.
- “No clue,” I said to him as we stood there looking at her. My address was listed but people couldn’t gain entry through the front lobby and I wondered how she’d gotten up here.
