Chapter 18

• Mr. Walsh had already worked out a study plan and gave me my first set of worksheets as we started preparations for the SATs. In private I could call him Gareth and we spent two hours after school every day except Fridays when he would just hand me tests to complete over the weekend.
• “Have a good weekend, Kage,” he said.
• “You too, Gareth,” I said as I piled my work into my backpack and headed outside where the guys had waited for me in front of our lockers.
