• In the mornings, Madison took Jared to school and then she’d return to the penthouse where she’d sit at the dining room table with her laptop, and I wondered what work she did. Endri and Luke came to visit a few times and Castiel called me every second night.
• I had to send him copies of my medical reports and the X-rays and he spoke directly to the surgeon and got his report of the surgery as well. I had no idea how he’d done it, but he had. He explained everything to me and said that my prognosis was good. It made him feel better, so I called him frequently for advice.
