Chapter 69 Vacation Two

• They chose a beach resort in Palawan as their getaway. It was already nighttime when they arrived. Fortunately, they had booked in advance. The resort wasn’t too crowded with tourists, and the trip wasn’t a big expense for Vangie since Bert insisted on splitting the cost. In truth, she barely had to contribute because Bert didn’t want her to spend anything. She only insisted since it was their trip after all.
• They rented a two-story villa that sat close to the shore. From the windows, they had a full view of the vast sea. There were three rooms upstairs. The one nearest the stairs was taken by Lucia and Boyong, with Banjo sharing their space. The next room over was for Sheila and Macy. Vangie and Bert took the biggest room, which faced the others. The second floor also had a terrace.
• Downstairs, the villa featured a living room, kitchen, and a dining area. Cooking wasn’t going to be a hassle. The villa even had a private pool, so swimming in the ocean wasn’t necessary if they didn’t feel like it.
