• “You’re really going home? Why don’t you just come with us?” Sheila asked. The three of them were now at the airport. She and Anton were headed to Palawan, while Vangie was flying back to Samar.
• Vangie sighed and shook her head. “I don’t want to crash your vacation, okay? And besides, I might just ruin your romantic nights,” she added, giving Sheila and Anton a meaningful glance.
