• Vangie probably felt that her mistake when she and her husband separated was not talking to him. Because of the deep pain she felt, she didn’t try to talk to him about fixing things. She didn’t beg him not to leave. She frowned. It wasn’t her and her children who Fredo left; it was just her. But maybe if she had done that, they wouldn’t have separated. She was very angry with Fredo. She couldn’t accept that he looked for someone else.
