Chapter 29 Doubts

• Bert kissed Vangie deeply, holding her face in his hands. Vangie swallowed hard, feeling torn. She was still upset because he didn’t come home last night, but she didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. They had never fought before, and she didn’t want their first fight to happen just because she was being paranoid.
• Vangie responded to his kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck. Bert’s hands started to wander, holding her waist and giving it a gentle squeeze.
• “I miss you, Vangie,” Bert whispered, trailing kisses down her neck.
