Chapter 65 Meeting The Family

• Early that morning, Bert and Vangie began preparing. They were going to visit Bert’s parents to formally introduce Joseph. Although they had already seen Joseph before, they had no idea who he truly was to them. Macy was still in Tacloban with Sheila, but Vangie wasn’t worried—she trusted her friend. Besides, Macy had always been close to Sheila since she was a child.
• Since Bert’s motorcycle was unavailable, they decided to take a tricycle instead. Vangie also didn’t allow Bert to drive, especially after what had happened. The last thing she wanted was for something worse to happen to him.
• When they arrived at Bert’s house, Lucia was the first to greet them. Apparently, she hadn’t left for the grocery yet and was still at home.
