Chapter 24 Living Together

• As the days passed, Bert and Vangie’s relationship grew deeper. Bert visited Vangie almost every day — in fact, he often stayed over and hardly went home anymore. Vangie’s friend, Sheila, kept teasing her, saying she looked like a lovestruck teenager again because her cheeks would blush whenever she talked about Bert. Vangie didn’t deny it — she felt the same way. Ever since she and Bert got together, she felt younger and happier.
• “What? What did you just say?” Vangie asked in shock while they were having lunch at her store.
• “I said… maybe I should just live here,” Bert replied casually.
